"Stay" follows Dylan, a girl in her mid 20's who is trying to escape an abusive home at the hands of her mother. Finally beginning to feel comfort in her relationship with Cole, Dylan realizes that maybe there is hope for a “normal” relationship in life. However, abuse has a way of following people, and when Dylan’s mother shows up unexpectedly, Dylan is forced to fight for her future.
